Associate Professor Meltem Yavuz, PhD

Meltem Yavuz completed her undergraduate program at the Yeditepe University as a scholarship student and received separate master's degrees from the Istanbul University and Leicester University with honours. She completed her doctorate education as a high honour student in the Department of Management and Organization at the Marmara University.  


Dr. Yavuz had worked as a research and teaching assistant at the Istanbul University for 7 years before she started her own business the Mind Crafting Academy. Her company started to serve trainings and consultancy services to institutions and individuals on subjects such as mindfulness, wellbeing, job crafting. Meltem also teaches undergraduate and graduate courses as a visiting lecturer at Başkent University, and TOBB University of Economics and Technology. She has been promoted to the Associate Professor title in Management and Strategy area.


Dr. Yavuz, who developed “the Turkish Job Crafting Questionnaire", has nearly 50 international book chapters, articles and conference papers on work psychology, organizational behaviour and business strategies. Dr. Yavuz, has also a master's thesis on "mindfulness-based interventions and their reflections on organizations" written in the Department of Neuroscience, Psychology and Behaviour at the University of Leicester.
