The MBSR Program was developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts in 1979 to improve the individual's health, compassion, kindness and well-being. This group program allow individuals to be aware of their judgments and ambitions, and consciously pay attention to their reactions to their experiences in pleasant or unpleasant moments.
While there are no prerequisites for participating in the program, suitable for everyone those who wish to include mindfulness practices in their life, wish to expand their perspective beyond their limits, wish to be more gentle and compassionate towards themselves and their environment, wish to learn how to stay skillfully with stressful, painful or other challenging situations and emotions.
According to the findings of articles published in academic journals with high scientific reputation, the MBSR program provides benefits in managing anxiety and stress, increasing focus and creativity, sleep disorders, chronic pain, regulating reactions, and dealing with challenging emotions and situations.
The course will be given as interactive and live broadcasts on Zoom.
PROGRAM LEADER:
Participants who complete the 8-week program will be given a certificate of participation in the MBSR Program in accordance with international standards.
Participants will have fulfilled the prerequisite for participation in further trainings (i.e. Mindfulness Coaching, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Teacher Training Program) with the relevant participation certificate.

Session 2: How Do We Perceive the World?
Session 3: Being in the Body
Session 4: Meeting Stress with Conscious Awareness
Session 5: Stress Response and Stress-Increasing Thoughts
Session 6: Mindful Communication
Session 7: Retreat (held on an extra day between the 6th and 7th week)
Session 8: Taking Care of Yourself
Session 9: Farewell and A New Beginning
Session 10: Follow-up Session (45 days after the completion of the program)
Total cost, including all sessions, half-day retreat and extensive handouts and audio specific to the course.
